One of the best wedding same day edit that we have ever produced yet, we are really excited to have this online as soon as the wedding had ended just yesterday! As many have said, being able to come together as one is not easy and it was indeed a joy to witness the holy matrimony and wedding of Dorigo and Seh Ting yesterday! It was raining in the morning but nothing seemed to be able to hold the love and eagerness of this bridegroom to get his dearest bride! From the gatecrashing all the way to the holy matrimony, the events just unfolded as the Lord has in mind for them! Although there were minor hiccups, we guess it was a day that was made really different and special at the same time and memories that they will recall and only laugh about many years later in this new chapter and a lifetime they will share together for eternity!
Having produced the special video montage Jarrett had in mind for his beloved princess, Serene, we went on to film the surprise proposal, their solemnization ceremony and finally, their wedding day, this day! It was really heartening to be able to witness their progression in their journey of love to this day when they are finally man and wife. Keeping to the theme of "a wedding of a princess", the day was just beautiful with their families and numerous relatives and friends around, it was nothing short of a joyous and happy atmosphere! Vincent and Rachel were by far the most creative couple we have came across. Any guy who had attended the wedding of Fu Onn and Fiona would definitely be awed at how beautiful Fiona was and I was no exception! :) Coupled with Fu Onn's enthusiasm to have an express highlights unique to their own wedding day, we produced this unique piece which won their hearts when it was screened at their wedding banquet last weekend. Despite the unexpected traffic jam on the Pan Island Expressway (PIE) and the downpour when we went for a mini outdoor shoot, we were pleased at the way it turned out which sometimes we always got surprised by our own creativity. Alvin and Mia met up with us for the first time and immediately signed up with us after the meeting. Boy are we glad to film the wedding of this lovely couple and creating something unique for them and surprising them with the quality and creativity when they watched this express highlights video of theirs after their second march-in at the wedding banquet! Not only were their guests entertained, their entourage of brothers and sisters were equally delighted judging by their laughter heard during the screening. Really! I just watched only the first 30 seconds of the video and I'm appalled by it!" Being on the same day as polling day of our General Elections 2011, the initial segment of the video was created specially to remember this day of! And no matter how well-received this express highlights video was to everyone, it definitely cannot beat the two thumbs up we got from Alvin and Mia when we saw their reactions! Darren and Carol had their Singapore wedding on 11.01.11, one of the hottest dates to be hold a wedding on, and we were part of their biggest day of their lifetime! It was very rush in the morning with people queuing up for makeup to be done on them, close ones and friends including those from abroad getting changed and ready and a lot of climbing up and down the stairs in the house. It was not easy trying to imitate and dance along with a music video made for kids, not when you are over 25 years old! This piece is a soft and romantic piece done with love for the beautiful Janelle and the handsome Daniel. The first time we met Sharon, we chatted for over 2 hours until the closing of Starbucks and we still seemed not done yet. Sharon is a very friendly lady with a very chatty and cheerful character. I think that was why our conversation could last so long. Then it was to M'sia for their bridal shoot that we met the man of her life, Vincent, for the second time after the signing of their contract. He drives a Subaru and seems to be a pretty tolerant guy when he was provoked by a M'sian driver on the roads. Win-son was so sweet when we saw how Win-son gobbled up and swallowed down one of the worst thing to have them by themselves but raw and gross as they were for him, he did it anyway for Faith! Not forgetting the sacrificial ceremony of hair that one of his brothers had gone through in place of Win-son, they were just commendable! Catch Win-son and his brothers in an improvised dramatic re-enactment of how he had proposed to Faith in this hilarious and dynamic edition of the gatecrashing and other events on their wedding day! Did I mention that we really like how Win-son's face was ever-ready to smile and how contagious and beautiful Faith's smile was? I tell you when one smiles, he or she is younger by a year or more already! Looking great, Win-son and Faith! :D

One of our many couples who happened to be civil servants, Jian Ting and Mei Teng are both teachers. We like Jian Ting's humble and honest personality that so complements Mei Teng's easy-going attitude. Although their wedding was no sophisticated affair, the proceedings and environment allowed us to paint a beautiful video for them that received numerous compliments from their family and friends. Lynette is the nice and demure girl who wanted a beautiful cinematic same day edit video for their wedding banquet and we're glad she and her handsome knight in shiny armor, Don, liked it very much. We heard from Don that she was tired that morning but when she had seen the preview of it, she was all beaming with joy. It was really a pleasant experience getting to know, Lynette, Don, their entourage of brothers and sisters and even their families too! They were just so nice people! Love them!!

At first sight, little did we know that Zhenlin and Colin are actually "pretty hardcore" gamers! An interesting couple they are, we had the privilege to be their wedding cinematographers! And we can't deny any less that their wedding was one that was so fun, we were laughing more than we usually would for other weddings!
Though being as intellectual as an engineer himself, Cheng Thau was at wit's end when he had to deal with the entourage of sisters. From using his "lung power" to hideous makeup's to his first time dancing, nothing was not too difficult for him and his entourage of brothers. Hui Leng herself was just so beautiful that day, for awhile, I thought I was at the wrong residence. Here's a toast to the beautiful bride and the humble and cute bridegroom! Congratulations once again to the both of them!
Dave and Jenny had chosen us as their choice for the unique style that only a few of us cinematographers here in Singapore possess. We clicked well when we first met each other while we were out to understand their needs. Dave was as cool as cucumber and knew what they wanted while Jenny is the supportive and encouraging girl who wore that sweet smile of hers that was as beautiful and hard-to-come-by as a solar eclipse. There and then, I knew this was one couple that Ideal has to have on our collection of art pieces. Being a 2-day cross-border wedding in both Malaysia and Singapore, we were no doubt exhausted putting our best into recording this once-in-a-lifetime day of theirs but their friend and close ones were so welcoming, fun and loving, it just drove us and fueled us on! Throughout the process, as the day wears away hour by hour, we were there as witnesses and it wasn't the least difficult to see that God had already wrote their love stories even before they were born! How wonderful! :) Truck loads of thanks to Dave and Jenny for such a wonderful experience at their wedding and being such accommodating and generous towards our team!

Super Express Highlights aka Extremely Fast Same Day Edit Yew Dong and Chin Yin was a hilarious couple to work with. I arrived at Chin Yin's place early in the morning and while shooting her makeup, we joked and laughed so much to the extent the that the photographer had asked "were we old classmates back then"! ^^ Both of them are civil servants and from the video, you will be able to roughly guess what Yew Dong is working as.
